Peer Response #3

Hi Genard,

In Blog Post 6 you compare and contrast Metallica and Whitesnake. I like the fact that the two ultimately could be classified in the same genre but you highlight their differences in a good way. I like the personal connection you make with each band by giving an example of how you became acquainted with Metallica. The biggest advice I would give is adding media to your post to connect a visual to the information your reader is reading. I ultimately went to Spotify to compare and contrast the two groups, which helped me get a better understanding of what you want us to hear.

Hi Angelina,

I think that the two artists have a lot in common and you do an excellent job of connecting the two artist’s similarities in mood. From a student’s prospective if there are differences, I think it would be beneficial to know about them. I would also suggest adding a visual. A great photo or a video would really help to support your beautiful descriptions. I found both artists on Spotify to listen to while reading your post. It helped me not just read but hear your perspective. I think your writing was perfect. You provided information about both artists and included a breakdown of each of their overall styles. Great Work!

Welcome

Welcome

Welcome to my blog, I’m an artist, writer, and music producer from Atlanta, GA. I currently live in Los Angeles. My ultimate goal would be to own a record label and foundation for youth artist development. I love all genres of music, growing up in the 90’s and early 00’s its hard not too. I hope you enjoy my insight on music, the industry and the culture.
